The 11" Rim Bowl is hand thrown by the skilled hands of our small team in the San Fracisco Clay Studio. Our Rim line of bowls provides endless inspiration for new takes on a classic design. Here this form is glazed in layers of KPFA and Hematite. The resulting interaction of the glazes in the kiln produces a dynamic, semi-matte and highly textural surface. The large wiped rim offers a distinct counterpoint to the bold glaze and also showcases the color of the clay we love.
